The main objective of the role is to contribute to our business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, providing guidance/expertise/training on various valuation engagements and lead the team towards excellence in service delivery.ResponsibilitiesBe part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, intellectual property and intangible asset valuations.Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes operating across a diverse range of industriesWork in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solutionPrioritize your objectives and contribute to project execution and status reportingProvide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team membersDirectly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team membersCompetencies and ExperienceIn order to be considered for this role your competencies will cover the broad scope of valuation services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentialsA professional designation including CA/CPA/MBA/CFA3 to 5 years of relevant valuations work experienceSound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in working and learning to use it to an advanced levelIn-depth understanding of valuation principlesExperience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles as per various accounting standardsAdvanced knowledge of using various research databases like CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson etc.Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven business development and marketing techniques, and ability to pursue and close business growth opportunitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterest in working in a challenging and dynamic environmentStrong commitment to professional client service excellenceHigh-quality interpersonal skills, integrity and credibility
