Job DescriptionProvide independent assurance on the effectiveness of Compliance Risk Management across business units. Develop, refresh, & execute the annual Compliance Assurance plan focusing on high-risk & high-value areas. Conduct risk-based reviews covering Financial Crime, Private Banking, CDD/KYC & regulatory compliance. Identify control gaps, areas of non-conformance & potential risks related to non-compliance. Communicate findings through clear written reports & verbal updates to senior stakeholders. Build & maintain strong working relationships across the three lines of defense. Leverage data analytics to enhance assurance coverage, efficiency & insights. Influence decision making & contribute to policy development & operational effectiveness. Lead or guide teams performing complex assignments, ensuring structured, high-quality delivery. Support resolution of escalated issues & provide expertise on complex compliance matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align assurance outcomes with business strategy. Analyze data from multiple internal & external sources to identify trends, risks and themes. Communicate & simplify complex or sensitive information for diverse audiences. Demonstrate strong stakeholder management & ability to influence outcomes. Possess strong knowledge of Financial Crime regulations & India regulatory expectations. Bring in-depth expertise in Private Banking, Customer Due Diligence & KYC processes. Display proactive, structured, high-performance work ethic with strong report writing skills. Good to have experience in 1LOD/2LOD testing or Internal Audit related to Financial Crime. Preferably hold ACAMS/ICA certifications & have exposure to data analytics.
