Role: Deputy General Manager/ General Manager – Shop ExcellenceBase location: Mumbai/ DubaiReporting: CEO - PharmaTravel: 40% travel, more extensive initiallyWhat you become a part of:The successful candidate will design, lead implement operational processes to enhance efficiency and deliver high- quality customer service across our wholesale depots and stores in different countries in Africa.What to expect:- Monitor shop plans and program performance to maximize operational efficiency and drive growth. - Drive in-store planning, coordination & evaluation of promotions, marketing and visual merchandising support in collaboration with Shop Operations Manager. - Co-ordinate customer activation/ loyalty programs; identify any other schemes as may be appropriate for implementation. - Continuously Track inventory and stock levels to ensure continuous supply and achieve sales targets. - Identify opportunities to launch flash campaigns/schemes basis product/SKU-wise inventory. - Track monthly performance (sell through, inventory mix and level, retail presentation, store profitability and target achievement) against plan and proactively identify solutions to close performance gaps, if any. - Standardize SOPs across stores and drive automation of shop processes. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives and performance management of shop managers. - Coach, train, and develop in-store teams in product knowledge, merchandising, customer service, and sales skills. - Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met by providing a safe and clean store environment and implementing loss prevention measures. - Collaborate with other regional teams such as warehouse, sales and marketing, supply chain, finance as needed to create synergy.Essential qualifications & experience:- Secondary qualifications such as is mandatory and life sciences/pharmacy qualifications such as B.Sc./ D. Pharm/ B.
