Over the past decade, DSM has trained260 + alumni , produced50 + new works , and built one of India’s most respected ecosystems for theatre education, outreach, and creative leadership. DSM now enters a new phase of renewal and growth, seeking a leader who can translate this legacy into a sustainable future. About the Role TheChief Executive Officer (CEO)is thesingle point of accountabilityfor DSM’s strategy, sustainability, and performance. Working alongside the Academic Head in adual-leadership model , the CEO ensures DSM remains financially viable, academically rigorous, operationally efficient, and publicly visible.Key Responsibilities Lead DSM’s five-year institutional and financial strategy. Oversee budgets, fundraising, and compliance in partnership with DSFM’s finance and audit teams. Drive enrolment, marketing, and national outreach. Build and steward donor, corporate, and institutional partnerships. Supervise finance, operations, HR, and administration with integrity and discipline. Represent DSM externally as its principal executive voice. Candidate Profile We’re looking for astrategic and entrepreneurial leaderwith: 12 – 20 years’ experience inarts management, higher education, or the social sector . A record of leading teams, budgets, and partnerships at scale. Financial and operational fluency, with demonstrated fundraising or business-development success. Deep respect for pedagogical integrity and creative collaboration. Cultural fluency and a values-driven approach to leadership.
