Job Title: Trade Placement & Portfolio Relationship Manager Experience:2– 4 years Location:Mumbai Department:Trade Finance / Corporate Banking Reporting to:VPJob Overview: We are looking to onboard a driven and detail-orientedTrade Placement & Portfolio Relationship Managerwith2 – 4 years of experience . This role is ideal for professionals who have a blend oftrade execution and sales exposure , and have worked closely with banks, managed client interactions, and handled documentation for trade finance products.Key Responsibilities: Trade Placement & Deal Execution: Handling Structured Trade deals (Placement & Execution) end to end till Go Live and throughout the lifecycle Manage & negotiate end-to-end documentation and placement with partner banks and NBFCs. Coordinate internally with credit, operations, and legal teams to ensure timely closure of transactions. Support rate discovery, comparison, and negotiation with banking partners. Client Relationship & Portfolio Management: Serve as the key point of contact for assigned corporate clients. Understand client business needs and propose suitable trade finance structures, in sync with Coverage RM. Manage documentation, client onboarding, and ongoing transaction support. Monitor portfolio performance, utilization of limits, and repayment schedules. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a bridge between clients, internal teams, and financial institutions to ensure smooth transaction flow. Coordinate with banks and financial partners for transaction referrals and updates. MIS & Reporting to senior management on Deals status & Revenue numbers Handle a portion ofpartner relationship managementas part of the role, although it is not a core focus.Ideal Candidate Profile: 2–4 years of relevant experience in trade finance, corporate banking, or NBFCs. Hands-on experience with trade documentation, client coordination, and deal execution. Exposure to both execution and frontline support roles (e.g., support ARMs in banks who liaise with clients, manage documentation, and coordinate referrals). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive closure independently.Preferred Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA preferred). Familiarity with structured trade products and partner bank coordination. Proficient in Excel and CRM or portfolio management systems.
