We are looking for VP F&D for Solid Orals for one of our esteemed Pharma client based at Mumbai as per the Job Description given below;Job Title: Vice President – Formulation & Development (F&D)Location: Mumbai, IndiaIndustry: PharmaceuticalsReports To: President / Head – R&DRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary professional to lead our Formulation & Development (F&D) division. The incumbent will be responsible for spearheading strategy, innovation, and execution of formulation development for regulated markets, with a strong focus on USFDA submissions and ANDA filings. The role demands expertise in complex dosage forms, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving successful product development pipelines for global markets.Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership - Define and implement the F&D strategy aligned with company’s global growth objectives, particularly for the US market. - Drive innovation in formulations across Oral Solid Dosage (OSD), Injectables, and other complex dosage forms. - Oversee portfolio selection, feasibility analysis, and lifecycle management of products. - Regulatory & Compliance - Lead ANDA/NDA submissions for the US market and ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (USFDA, MHRA, EMA, etc.). - Provide technical and strategic inputs during regulatory inspections and audits. - Operations Management - Oversee end-to-end formulation development activities including pre-formulation, formulation optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer. - Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA/QC, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution of projects. - Drive cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and adherence to project timelines. - People & Stakeholder Management - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&D team. - Foster collaboration with cross-functional global teams and external partners. - Represent the company in technical forums, conferences, and client interactions.Qualifications & Experience- Educational Qualification: - M.Pharm / Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Sciences. - Experience: - 18+ years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development with reputed pharma companies. - Strong exposure to regulated markets (US, EU) with hands-on experience in ANDA filings and approvals. - Proven track record in developing OSD and complex dosage forms (e.g., modified release, injectables, specialty formulations). - Experience in managing large R&D teams and driving multiple projects simultaneously.Key Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of formulation science, process development, and technology transfer. - In-depth understanding of USFDA regulatory pathways and filing strategies. - Strategic mindset with ability to build and manage robust product pipelines. - Excellent leadership, people management, and decision-making skills. - High adaptability, innovation mindset, and results-driven approach.What We Offer- Opportunity to lead F&D for a reputed and rapidly growing pharma organization. - Exposure to global markets and cutting-edge research. - Competitive compensation and benefits package.If you are a strategic leader with deep expertise in F&D and a passion for innovation in regulated markets, we invite you to apply for this role.In case you are looking for this exciting opportunity you can apply to Piyush Garg on pgarg@ along with current salary.RegardsPiyush GargUtkarsh Placement Pvt LtdVadodara
