Job Title: Area Business Manager – Mumbai Department: Sales & Marketing Segment: Pharma – Baby & Mother Care Location: Mumbai (All Zones) Reporting To: Sales & Marketing Head Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership Drive revenue growth across the Mumbai region for baby and mother care products. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Ensure product penetration and market share expansion across Derma, Pediatrics, and Gynic segments . Team Management Lead and manage a team of 10+ Territory Business Managers . Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and capability-building sessions. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team alignment with business goals. Customer Engagement Build strong relationships with pediatricians, gynecologists, dermatologists, hospitals, and pharmacies. Develop and nurture Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support brand advocacy. Ensure effective customer engagement strategies and feedback mechanisms. Marketing Execution Implement marketing campaigns, CMEs, and awareness programs. Monitor ROI of promotional activities and optimize execution. Market Intelligence Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Provide actionable insights to the marketing and product teams. Operational Excellence Ensure efficient inventory management, distributor coordination, and timely collections. Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate in Science/Pharmacy; MBA preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in pharma sales, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. Strong exposure to baby and mother care , derma , pediatrics , and gynic product lines is highly desirable. Proven track record of managing large teams and driving regional sales. Skills Required: Strategic thinking and business acumen. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
