Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant specializing in Medical Equipment Procurement for an on-site contract role based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end procurement process of medical equipment, from market research and supplier negotiations to ensuring regulatory compliance and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the procurement lifecycle for medical equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service agreements. Manage vendor relationships and ensure supplier performance aligns with contractual expectations. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and procurement policies. Conduct market research to identify high-quality and cost-effective suppliers. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand equipment needs and procurement timelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration , or a related field. Proven experience in a similar procurement or consulting role, preferably in the medical equipment sector. Strong knowledge of medical equipment and procurement best practices . Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in medical procurement (local and international standards). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Strong analytical and market research skills to drive informed procurement decisions.
