Manager Ocean Import

Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of ocean freight logistics Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other vendors Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations Negotiate contracts and rates with service providers Track and report on shipment statuses Develop strategies to optimize freight management and reduce costs Resolve any issues or delays in shipping processes Collaborate with other departments to align freight operations with business goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in ocean freight management Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations Proven track record of managing vendor relationships Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in logistics management software Skills Logistics Management Vendor Negotiation Regulatory Compliance Supply Chain Optimization Analytical Skills Problem-Solving Project Management Communication Skills Microsoft Office Logistics Software
