The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial planning, variance analysis, budgeting, and MIS reporting, with strong technical capabilities in accounting standards and financial systems. This role is critical in driving analytical insights and supporting strategic business decisions in a regulated and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare annual budgets and handle monthly budgetary control, MIS reporting, and variance analysis across key financial areas. Prepare project-specific Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements. Conduct cost and overhead analysis, internal control testing, and streamline financial processes. Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure accurate and timely MIS reports aligning business and financial performance. Scrutinize creditor ledgers and coordinate follow-ups. Manage budget control functions ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Work closely with business heads to understand business drivers and provide analytical inputs. Support internal and external financial reporting in alignment with accounting standards. Liaise with statutory and internal auditors, tax and accounting regulators, and other external stakeholders. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to anticipate financial variances and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications & Experience Education: MBA/PGDM in Finance (mandatory)/M. Com Experience: FP & A-specific experience: 3–5 years Skills & Knowledge Requirements In-depth understanding of accounting principles including IND AS and IFRS Familiarity with GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance for both Direct and Indirect Taxation Proficiency in preparing monthly P&L, budgeting, cash flow, working capital management, and financial ratio analysis Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments Hands-on experience in business analysis, financial modelling, and dashboard reporting Experience in liaising with auditors, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders Key Attributes High attention to detail and accuracy Strong business acumen and result-oriented mindset Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills High energy and commitment to excellence Ability to independently manage and deliver key projects Target Industry Background Candidates from any industry background are welcome, provided they have strong experience in an FP&A function. Proven skills in Excel, PowerPoint, financial analysis, and reporting are essential.
