Manager - Media Buyer

Job Description: Technical Skills: Research, select, and purchase advertising space in various media outlets Ensure that content is delivered to the target audience in the most effective manner. Analyse market trends. Develop strategies and campaigns to increase customer engagement and sales. Set campaign timelines by coordinating resources. Ensure media plans are executed on time and within the budget. Monitor the progress of all campaigns, conduct reviews, and adjust plans as needed. Maintain ties with media contacts, suppliers, and clients. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers. Ensure that all campaigns comply with governing guidelines and industry standards. Consolidate and analyze media reports. Measure campaign performance. Identify areas for improvement based on the analysis. Provide creative input and troubleshoot technical issues. Ensure quality control of all media materials. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to identify opportunities for improvement. Take on additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager. Requirements and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field. Candidates with a Master’s degree will be preferred. Demonstrated experience in developing, managing, and executing media plans. In-depth knowledge of the latest trends in media messaging. Excellent project management and managerial skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent presentation skills. Knowledge of executive policies, practices, and procedures. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of attention to detail. Good organizational and time management skills. A creative approach to problem-solving and a willingness to think outside the box. A proactive attitude and ability to take the initiative. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
