Job Title: Head – Business Development (Granulation Division) Location: Mumbai, India Industry: Pharmaceutical Machinery / Engineering Solutions About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned business leader to head the Granulation Division within the business development function of a reputed pharma engineering solutions provider. This role will be responsible for driving growth in the granulation equipment segment across India, engaging with key pharma manufacturing clients, and owning the P&L for the vertical. Key Responsibilities: Lead business development and revenue generation for granulation machinery across the Indian market. Identify and build relationships with formulation companies, CMOs, and other pharma manufacturers. Drive technical-commercial discussions and position equipment solutions as per client needs. Collaborate with internal engineering, project, and product teams for custom solutions. Maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key accounts. Represent the company at client meetings, industry forums, and exhibitions. Manage the full sales lifecycle and ensure achievement of growth and profitability targets. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or Pharmaceutical Engineering. 15+ years of experience in capital equipment or pharma machinery sales , preferably in granulation systems. Strong understanding of formulation processes and pharmaceutical production operations. Proven track record of managing P&L , winning key accounts, and closing high-value sales. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and drive results in a dynamic environment. Preferred Experience: Experience in turnkey projects or solution-based selling in the pharma equipment space. Existing network within formulation manufacturing and related domains.
