By combining nutrition with indulgence, we aim to create food that aligns with today's conscious consumer lifestyles.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Food Technologist to join our Operations team in a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The position involves contributing to product development, managing factory operations, ensuring quality control, and optimising production output. This is a cross-functional role requiring equal comfort on the production floor and in documentation/compliance work.Production & OperationsOversee production and packing of snack products (chips, namkeen, and allied SKUs) — ensuring process parameters are within specificationsMonitor and optimise yield, wastage, and line efficiencyCoordinate with suppliers for procurement for raw materialMaintain and enforce SOPs for manufacturing, sanitation, and equipment handlingQuality Assurance & ComplianceConduct in-process and finished goods quality checks (sensory, physical, micro parameters)Manage FSSAI compliance — mandatory testing schedules, record-keeping, label declaration reviewMaintain batch records, COA review from vendors, and traceability documentationHandle internal audits and support third-party lab coordinationNew Product DevelopmentAssist in formulation trials for new flavours, SKUs, and product variantsEvaluate ingredient functionality (shelf life, texture, flavour stability)Prepare trial reports, sensory evaluation summaries, and scale-up notesCoordinate with packaging team on label content and ingredient declarationsVendor & Raw Material ManagementEvaluate new ingredient/additive suppliers Review TDS/COA and conduct incoming quality checks for critical inputsQualificationsExpertise in Food Technology and functional food formulationsHands-on experience in dealing with factory labourKnowledge and application of Quality Control processes to ensure product consistency and complianceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related fieldStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with sustainability practices and a passion for clean, innovative food solutions
