Dear Applicants,Greetings from Hindustan Platinum !!Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Synthetic Organometallic Chemist with strong expertise in homogeneous catalysis and organic synthesis. The role involves the design, synthesis, optimization, and characterization of organometallic complexes for catalytic applications across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and specialty chemicals.Key Responsibilities:Design, execute, and optimize the synthesis of organometallic complexes for catalytic applicationsConduct and optimize catalytic reactions using parallel reactors (HTS)Monitor reactions using GC-MS, HPLC/MS, and high-resolution NMRPerform isolation and purification of organometallic and organic compounds under inert conditionsHandle air-sensitive chemistry using Schlenk lines, glove boxes, inert filtration, recrystallization, etc.Independently conduct literature and patent searches to support innovationContribute to intellectual property creation (patents and trade secrets)Publish scientific papers under the guidance of senior leadershipPrepare and deliver technical presentations (internal and external)Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of business ethicsRequired Qualifications:PhD in Chemistry from a well-recognized institutionStrong background in homogeneous catalysis and organometallic chemistryProven expertise in organic synthesisHands-on experience with air-sensitive techniques (Schlenk line, glove box operations)Proficiency in analytical and characterization tools:GC-MSHPLC/MSHigh-resolution NMRPreferred Experience :2- 3 years of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry in relevant areasPrior experience in catalyst development for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, or specialty chemicalsSkills & CompetenciesStrong experimental planning and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication, including PowerPoint presentationsAbility to work independently and as a team playerHigh integrity and strong professional ethicsInterested candidates can share resume on :simranjeet.sohal@
