Senior Sustainability Specialist

Post: Senior Sustainability Specialist Essential Qualification •Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Scientific/Engineering degree and/or post-graduate in Environment / Safety from reputed institutes. Experience •Minimum 6 years of HSE (Health Safety and Environment) or Labour rights experience in chemical / pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 3 years in managerial level at medium / large site or large organization.•Professional HSE / Labour local regulations, HSE Management system/implementation, and risk assessment/documentation experience.•Should have conducted at least 10 HSE / Social audits as lead auditor or 15 audits as co-auditor for HSE management system / Social including local legal regulations•Certified HSE / Social auditor, HSE auditor by training through internal course from reputed organization or Lead Auditor for ISO 45001/ISO14001 preferred. Work Profile •Responsible for client’s procurement sustainability audit processes, standards, and ensures tracking of findings to support supplier oversight on Sustainability aspects (includes Environment, Health and Safety, Labour rights etc.).•Conduct sustainability assessments / audits (which includes Environment, Health and Safety, Labour rights and social topics).•Drive and develop the Sustainability improvement plan for clients by providing guidance and coaching to their teams as may be required.•Plan and organize knowledge sharing workshops on key Sustainability topics for the clients. Skills •Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
