Subject Matter Expert (Life-Science)

Location: Mumbai/DelhiKEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :- Should have global exposure and keep abreast of new trends and future advancements in their field of expertise for one or both from the below-HPAPI- OSD and Aseptic processingBiotechnology- Should primarily operate in the India market with the flexibility to extend support to APAC, EMEA, and US regions as required. - Should connect with global SMEs as needed. - Should lead the team in conceptualizing, front-end engineering, and detailed engineering while providing various options and value addition in process engineering to enhance project outcomes. - Establishes contact with potential clients and obtains the client's history to develop a client profile. - Engages as Subject Matter Experts to enhance Organization's brand and client engagement, developing client and sub-contractor relations and promoting brand awareness. - Participates in events to promote BD initiatives by seeking out new projects with existing or new clients. - Contributes to the preparation and delivery of strategic sales presentations and proposals for the Life Sciences region. - Coordinates with project management teams and discipline directors to determine the scope, complexity, and requirements of projects. - Defines an appropriate, cost-effective workflow process and level of design detail to achieve project goals. - Ensures the quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness of work in alignment with process architectural and process design principles, and compliance with established standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances. - Regularly reviews productivity and quality reports to ensure optimal performance. - Facilitates master planning, feasibility studies, and conceptual design for assigned projects. - Defines design philosophies and facility design parameters for special projects as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS /WORK EXPERIENCE:- 20 + Years of Process Design experience within the Pharmaceutical industry working with (one or more) oral solid dosage (OSD), Aseptic Processing, Biologics and ATMP (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products). - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, in Engineering or relevant science, Masters/Ph.D. will be preferred. - Strong proficiency in office software, including MW Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. - GMP design experience along with regulatory requirement of various international bodies. - General knowledge of system design and applicable codes in process engineering. - Active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is strongly preferred (for example: speaking engagements, presenting at industry events and conferences, etc.) - Proven experience interacting and communicating directly with clients and leading conceptual design efforts. - Has a demonstrated ability to manage projects, problem solve, communicate effectively to all key personnel, time manage, and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.
