The current humans here are marketers, strategists, and operators who will send you a blurry WhatsApp screenshot and say /"something like this, but better, by evening./" That is the brief. That is often the entire brief. Your job is to translate /"vibes/" into output that international clients pay for.We will not tell you which tool to use. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Midjourney, Sora, Runway, your cousin who does freehand sketching at 2 am, a stock library, a free Unsplash hack, an AI generator we have never heard of. We do not care. We care that the file lands, on time, and looks like it belongs on a brand that charges in dollars.You should probably apply ifYou know the text-to-image ratio is a thing, and you have opinions about it.You know where to find images, stock footage, icons, mockups, fonts, and references, and if you can't find them, you can generate them, and if you can't generate them, you know a human who can.You research before you design. You do not open a blank canvas and pray.You can take a screenshot of a Lufthansa ad and a screenshot of a Zomato banner and somehow produce a third thing that is original and on-brand for a real estate client in Dubai.You read briefs between the lines, because the lines themselves will often be three words and a fire emoji.You are okay being a solopreneur inside a small company. You will own the design function. Nobody will hand you a 40-slide brand guideline. You will probably write it yourself.You should absolutely not apply ifYou are looking for pocket money to fund a phone upgrade.You want a senior to /"guide/" you on every deliverable. There is no senior. There is a Slack message at 11:47 pm saying /"client loved it btw./"You think AI is cheating. Or you think AI is everything. Both extremes will struggle here.You measure your worth in number of revisions survived rather than work shipped.The seed and fruit thingHere is the actual deal. Most graphic designer jobs hand you a fruit. Fixed salary, fixed hours, fixed scope. Eat the fruit, come back tomorrow. Fine job. Not this one.This role hands you a seed. You decide whether to plant it, water it, ignore it, or sell it at the market. If you grow it into a tree, the variable component, the client relationships, the eventual ownership of a design function, all of that is yours. If you wait for someone to hand you fruit, you will sit hungry. Be honest with yourself about which one you are. Both are valid. Only one fits here.How to applySend us:Your best work.
