Textile Designer

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Technical Designer to support the end-to-end product development lifecycle for Bedding and Beach products. This role will act as a critical bridge between Design, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely execution of all technical deliverables.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain spec sheets and tech packs with complete details on construction, measurements, materials, and finishing.Ensure high accuracy in technical documentation to minimize errors, revisions, and development delays.Develop, update, and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) in PLM systems within defined timelines.Act as a quality checkpoint for all design deliverables, reviewing specs, layouts, and construction details for accuracy.Collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure alignment from concept through production.Review vendor submissions, samples, and counter samples to ensure adherence to specifications, fit, and quality standards.Maintain consistency in size specs, grading, construction, and product standards across categories.Track and troubleshoot quality and construction issues, maintaining logs and sharing insights for improvement.Manage color approvals, including lab dips and strike-offs, ensuring accuracy against design intent.Organize and maintain digital libraries of CADs and technical files with proper naming and tagging conventions.Manage timelines and deliverables using tools such as PLM and project management systems (e.g., BeProduct and ).Contribute to process improvements, enhancing workflow efficiency and reducing dependency on external resources.
