Instructional Designer (Higher Education)

P.S - this is a full time role, hybrid working culture, based in Andheri(E), Mumbai.ObjectiveCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project team members to develop engaging and effective training content. The designer will ensure the curriculum and produced content align with defined learning objectives, adhere to instructional design principles, be visually appealing and intuitive, and comply with universal accessibility standards.Functional SkillsCourse Design: State instructional end goals and create aligned content.Visualize instructional graphics and the finished product.Collaborate with customer SMEs for robust course design and content development. Develop Instructional Materials: Create accurate, comprehensive storyboards for web-based training, video, microlearning, and screencast tutorials (software simulations), using source documents, course outlines, and other relevant inputs.Write exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.Develop assessments that align with desired learning outcomes. Be aware of accessibility requirements and include suitable engagement strategies. Review for Quality Assurance: Conduct storyboard and course reviews against required standards (client and learner requirements, QM, UDL, DEI). Implement Client Feedback: Analyze client feedback and ensure implementation to client satisfaction. Understand and use Technology and Tools: Utilize course authoring tools, such as Storyline, Rise, or H5P, to create interactive and engaging learning experiences, including multimedia elements, screencast tutorials, assessments, and branching scenarios. Leverage productivity tools (Google Docs, Grammarly, ClickUp, Zoom, etc.) to enhance efficiency. Use generative AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, and LearningMate’s proprietary AI platform Kadal, etc.) to assist with content creation, assessment development, and personalized learning.
