Event Art Director - 2D & 3D Designer / Visualizer

As a pioneer in events, exhibitions, activations, television, PR, and digital, Wizcraft continues to shape the event management and experiential marketing landscape in India and globally.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented 2D & 3D Designer who can conceptualize and visualize immersive event environments, stage designs, exhibition stalls, brand experiences, and corporate events. The ideal candidate should be capable of converting briefs into compelling 2D graphics and realistic 3D renders suitable for presentations and execution.I. Concept & VisualizationDesign Conceptualization: Interpret client briefs, branding guidelines, themes, and event objectives to develop innovative concepts for launches, exhibitions, corporate shows, and experiential activations.Visual Direction: Create detailed mood boards, reference materials, and visual directions to guide the design process.3D Design: Produce detailed 3D concepts for key structures (stage setups, exhibition stalls, kiosks, entry arches, lounges, experience zones).Rendering: Generate high-quality, realistic renders, walkthrough visuals, and presentation-ready perspectives.II. Graphic & Technical Output2D Graphic Design: Design essential event collateral, including stage backdrops, event identity systems, branding elements, signages, invites, social media creatives, and print artworks.Technical Documentation: Prepare technical drawings, plans, elevations, and fabrication references to ensure accuracy.Production Readiness: Develop print-ready artwork files complete with dimensions and fabrication specifications. Coordinate branding layouts across venue spaces and support production teams with necessary execution drawings.III. Coordination & Execution SupportCollaboration: Work closely with client servicing, production, operations, and external vendors.Feedback & Feasibility: Incorporate client feedback and revise designs, ensuring they are practical, budget-conscious, and feasible for execution.On-Site Support: Conduct venue reconnaissance (recce) when necessary and provide on-ground support during fabrication and setup to ensure the final execution precisely matches the approved design.Required Skills & Expertise:Software Proficiency: 2D Design -Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW3D Modelling - 3ds Max / SketchUpRendering - V-Ray / LumionTechnical - AutoCAD, PowerPointBeneficial (AI Tools) - Canva, Figma, Midjourney, Ideogram, ChatGPT, Gemini (requirement is not compulsory, but beneficial)Technical Knowledge:Strong grasp of materials, fabrication techniques, lighting design, and branding applications.Familiarity with stage structures, truss systems, LED walls, and exhibition system mechanics.Expertise in space planning, scale understanding, and print production processes.Soft Skills:Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Strong time management and a detail-oriented, deadline-focused approach.Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly during peak event timelines, as a collaborative team player.Candidate Profile:Experience: Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating concept ownership and direct client presentation skills.Education: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Animation, or a related discipline.Industry Preference: Experience gained within Event Management Agencies, Exhibition Design Companies, Experiential Marketing Agencies, or Production Houses.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ Success Metrics:Quality and innovation of conceptual designs.Speed and efficiency of design delivery.Accuracy and technical quality of drawings.Realism and professional quality of renders.Client approval ratio for submitted designs.Consistency between final execution and approved design.
