Functional fabrics Specialist Fashion Designer (Spandex, Lycra, Athletic fabrics)

We're looking for a Functional fabrics Specialised Fashion Designer who is an expert in the following fabric category:Performance & Athletic Fabrics (Spandex/Lycra Blends, Mesh, Compression Fabric, Moisture-Wicking Polyester)What you'll have to do:You'll design 120 styles per monthForecast market trends, understand mood boards and translate them into detailed tech packsCommunicate and collaborate with different teamsYou're a great fit if you have:Strong background in Fashion Design, Fitting, and garment conceptualization with a focus on functional yet fashionable designsProficiency in working with Textiles, particularly Spandex, Lycra, and other performance-oriented fabrics — understanding stretch recovery, compression, and moisture managementKnowledge of gusset engineering, seam placement, and construction techniques specific to activewear and performance wearCreative vision and a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry, with the ability to balance functionality and aestheticsAbility to adapt designs to align with Gen-Z trends and preferences across activewear and athleisure categoriesExcellent creativity, attention to detail, and familiarity with sustainable and innovative fabric solutions in the performance spaceAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, trend-oriented environment and meet tight deadlinesHands-on experience in designing performance wear is a significant advantageTools: Adobe Illustrator · Photoshop · CLO 3D (a plus)Portfolio required — applications without one will not be reviewed.
