From celebrity news to pop culture moments, Pinkvilla shapes how millions of Indians consume entertainment every day - through credible, engaging, and trend-led storytelling across formats.Pinkvilla is a Flipkart Group Company.Location: MumbaiExperience: 8 to 10 yearsEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Creative Producer to lead content creation for our app and drive high engagement, repeat consumption, shares, and virality.This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, storytelling, trends, and high-retention short-form formats, and can consistently ship content that people can’t stop watching and sharing.You will own the end-to-end process: concept → scripting → production → editing → publishing, working closely with editors, designers, hosts, and the marketing/community team.Key Responsibilities1) Own the Binge Content StrategyBuild and execute the content roadmap for the Binge section with a focus on:high watch-timehigh completion ratesrepeat consumptionshares/saves/forwardsCreate content that feels premium, addictive, and scroll-stopping.Develop content pillars and series formats that are scalable and consistent.2) Create Viral & Highly Shareable Content FormatsProduce content that has strong virality and share triggers, such as:relatable momentsopinions & debatessurprises and revealsemotional hookspop culture + trend mappingsnackable infotainmentBuild repeatable templates like:“Top 5” / “This or That” / “Hot Takes”explainers & breakdownslisticles in video forminteractive formatsquick quizzes / challengesStay ahead of trends and translate them into platform-native content.3) End-to-End Production OwnershipOwn the full content pipeline:ideation and planningscripting and storyboardingshoot planning and executionpost-production and editspackaging (titles, captions, thumbnails, hooks)Ensure output is consistent in quality, tone, and brand voice.Deliver content at high speed without compromising creative quality.4) Scripting, Hooks & StorytellingWrite or oversee scripts that maximize:first 1–2 seconds hookretentionemotional payoffshareabilityCreate strong narrative structures even for short videos:Hook → Context → Punch → Payoff → CTA (share/comment)Work closely with talent/hosts to improve delivery and on-camera presence.5) Content Packaging & Distribution ReadinessEnsure every piece of content is optimized for consumption and sharing:strong opening framepunchy captionsmeme-able momentscutdowns in multiple lengthsvertical-first formattingCollaborate with Marketing/Community teams to plan distribution:what gets pushed on socialwhat becomes a serieswhat becomes a trend format6) Build a High-Output Content EngineManage and coordinate a production team including:video editorsmotion designerswritersshoot crew (as needed)voiceover/talentCreate SOPs and workflows to scale output smoothly.Maintain production calendars, shoot schedules, and post timelines.7) Content Performance & IterationTrack performance of Binge content using key metrics:watch timecompletion rateshares/savesreplayscomments and sentimentIdentify what works and create “more of that” systematically.Run weekly experiments with formats and hooks to improve virality.8) Quality Control & Brand AlignmentEnsure content is aligned with brand tone and safe for platform.Maintain consistency in visual style, pacing, and storytelling.Ensure content is original, well-researched, and legally safe (no risky IP usage).Skills & Qualifications8 to 10 years experience in digital video production, content production, short-form content, or mediaStrong understanding of:short-form storytellingviral content formatsediting for retentioninternet culture and trendsStrong scripting and creative direction skillsHands-on understanding of post-production and packagingAbility to manage multiple projects and deliver at speedPreferred Candidate Traits“Trend-native” and obsessed with what people shareHigh creative taste + strong executionFast, organized, and extremely output-drivenStrong collaboration with editors, creators, and marketing teamsCan build content systems, not just one-off videos
