Instrumentation Designer (S3D / AutoCAD / BricsCAD)Location: MumbaiDepartment: Engineering – InstrumentationIndustry: Oil & GasExperience: 10–14 yearsQualification: Diploma / ITI in InstrumentationRole OverviewWe are seeking experienced Instrumentation Designers with strong proficiency in S3D, AutoCAD, and BricsCAD to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas sector and the ability to independently prepare and review instrumentation design deliverables.Key Responsibilities- Develop and update 3D instrumentation models using S3D. - Produce detailed Instrumentation Layouts, Cable Routing, Wiring Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Hook-up Drawings, and other related design documents. - Prepare Instrument Index, I/O lists, and support documentation as required. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Piping, etc.) to ensure design consistency. - Review vendor drawings and incorporate design changes as required. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and standards. - Support site survey activities, design clarifications, and construction support when required. - Maintain accurate documentation and participate in model reviews.Required Skills & Competencies- Proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D) is mandatory. - Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BricsCAD. - Solid understanding of instrumentation systems, cabling, field instruments, and control systems. - Effective communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.Preferred Experience- Prior experience working on major Oil & Gas EPC / FEED projects. - Familiarity with international engineering standards (ISA, IEC, NEC, etc.). - Exposure to brownfield/ revamp project environments is an advantage.
