Textile Designer (Home)- Haus & Kinder Haus and Kinder is a D2C design led lifestyle brand offering trendy home, baby and kids essentials to millenial moms at an affordable price. We started our operations in 2018. We are growing fast and launching product categories at a fast pace. Key Responsibilities & Expectations: Assist in the creation of innovative and marketable designs for a range of home textiles, focusing on cushions, bedding, and other top-of-the-bed products. Trend research and in-depth market survey in order to thoroughly understand the market needs. Exploration of patterns, colors and techniques to create new and unusual print designs keeping in mind the brands product range. Development of Print designs and planning unique and new placements and layouts Research and develop ideas from various sources; scanning, redrawing and changing color ways; using software packages to create new effects. To design and develop new prints seasonally. Provide design/concept boards to communicate design and seasonal direction for textile prints. Good understanding of patterns, textures, layout, color and digitizing artworks Ability to imagine & execute this on a final product.  Good understanding of various digital textile printing process Develop necessary mood boards, theme boards, samples, color options, etc.  Coordinating with Designers and interpreting their ideas. Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams for design submissions and follow ups Keeping pace with trends of new design & production and print techniques. Overall Experience: Must have completed a degree in Textile Design from esteemed institutions such as NID or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). • Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the creative textile field, with a focus on home textiles. • Possesses a basic understanding of weaving techniques and the complexities specifically related to home textiles. • Demonstrates the ability to creatively interpret and contribute to design briefs, particularly in the realm of home textiles.
