Freelance Designer

Job Title: Freelance Designer (Lingerie) – Project Basis Role Overview: We are looking for a freelance designer to lead the design and product development process for our lingerie line. This role will be project-based, where the designer will set the creative direction, develop ranges, and guide a junior designer in executing detailed deliverables. Key Responsibilities: * Develop seasonal range concepts, moodboards, and design direction aligned to brand positioning. * Create techpacks, CADs, and design specifications for sampling. * Collaborate with sourcing and vendors for prototyping and sample corrections. * Oversee fit sessions, guide improvements, and ensure design integrity. * Mentor and provide direction to the junior designer, ensuring quality and consistency. * Stay updated on global and local lingerie trends, fabrics, trims, and consumer preferences. Requirements: * Strong portfolio in lingerie / intimate wear design. * Proficiency in design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools). * Knowledge of fabrics, trims, lingerie construction, and sizing. * Ability to manage timelines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Previous experience in leading range development is preferred.
