Company Description Studio Soma is a Mumbai-based interior design firm founded in 2022 by Shikha Shah.We area a growing interior design firm that focuses on creating well-planned and aesthetically pleasing spaces. We are looking for a motivated fresher or entry-level interior designer to join our team and grow with us. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer located in Mumbai. The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for assisting with space planning, creating interior design concepts, preparing architecture and construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). Job Title: Junior Interior Designer – Home Office Based Location: Malad East, Mumbai Work Mode: Home Office (candidates must be comfortable working from a home office setup and carry their own laptop) Work Timing: Monday – Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, Photoshop, Google SketchUp, V-Ray, or other design software. Assist in material selections and coordinate with vendors/suppliers. Attend client meetings and contribute to design discussions. Coordinate and manage site execution under guidance. Maintain project documentation, data, and reports (Excel, Word). Support the principal designer in day-to-day project activities. Required Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, V-Ray, or equivalent). Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to multitask and handle site + office responsibilities. 1year of experience in the industry
