Sr Associate, Conceptual Designer, BES

Responsibilities and Duties: Technical Creates mood boards that articulate the design direction taken in a way that can be readily followed by the audience Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, After Effects and other design software Conceptualizes and pushes boundaries of artworks from client briefs Able to easily and meaningfully discuss all design elements and aesthetics with any audience on work created Suggests message, style, or media that should be used based on the design brief Estimates the time required to complete the project and uses this to stay on track to the deadline Provides sufficient orientation to other designers to undertake the work, where appropriate An understanding of design tools and techniques. This includes a knowledge of technical restrictions and specifications of the hardware and software used Strong management and communication skills. This includes the ability to work with others and to manage tasks the production team must accomplish Ensures that all corporate brand guidelines are adhered to and client-expectation is achieved Uses a high level of expertise to deliver and encourage stunning design concepts to meet client briefs and expectations Functional Skills Takes briefs with clients or art director to determine the scope of a project. During the briefing meeting the Conceptual Design Associate will offer on the spot design solutions and recommendations Exceptional problem solving skills The foresight to put themselves in the shoes of the user Creates innovative conceptual design solutions that meets client expectations, within the deadline and error free Monitors progress of their work at regular intervals to ensure timely delivery of output for projects Coordinates early with art director, manager and workflow regarding project progress and other concerns Reviews design for errors, inconsistencies, and other technical specifications before art director/client submission He or she is the creative driving force behind the conceptualization of a project A vivid imagination that is feed by a strong curiosity about the world around him or her. Such designers enjoy exploring ideas and have a passion for searching out new perspectives and processes. This skill contributes to making a project informative, exciting, and an effectively pleasing experience The ability to thrive off a challenge and enjoy designing solutions Come up with highly creative concepts Outstanding portfolio Staying up to date with industry trends Generating ideas and selling them into clients and other members of the team Maintaining high standards and ensuring only the best work is released to the client Organizes and archives work files according to SOP Logs time accurately and live for projects in Tool All work will to be saved in SharePoint based on our naming conventions and guidelines As well as attend meetings and briefings with clients and teammates, conceptual design associates will be based in an office environment and may occasionally have to work hours outside the regular working day The working day will emulate that of the UK or the US Conceptual design associates will adhere to all design best practices and processes and where appropriate will offer improvement suggestions and implement Required Skills/Abilities: Software skills, exceptional proficiency in: InDesign Illustrator Photoshop Good to have - After Effects, Dreamweaver, Other CC tools, PowerPoint
