Executive Design Director

Executive Design Director Profile: As an Executive Design Director, you are responsible for all the projects that are running through the studio in your assigned vertical (e.g. BFSI, CBG, etc.). Your role is to ensure successful delivery by all project teams under your purview, and foster relationships with the clients and stakeholders to ensure the success of an account. You are the person everyone looks to from all angles of the agency. Ensuring everyone is doing their relevant part, particularly from a Client, Craft & Culture perspective. You will be expected to have the ability to grow the business through new business and current client accounts. Inspire others through impeccable communication, sharing stories and discuss topics the studio has a passion for, both internally and externally. Our practice is formed around 3 core pillars: Clients, Craft and Culture As Executive Design Director, you will contribute to our studio by: Client: Win new accounts and maintain existing accounts Create growth and expand the studio into new sectors Contribute to developing new business strategies Oversight of all creative output in a studio Manage senior stakeholders and support design leads Craft: Speak about craft to a broader audience Shape the next generation of designers Establish and implement new ways of working Define the benchmark of quality across the business Ensure successful delivery by all project teams Oversee materials for BD and marketing Culture: Run and manage the entire creative team in your respective studio Create an environment to grow year on year Hire, nurture, and grow the design team Responsibilities: Run and manage the entire creative team across geography or sector specific Define the benchmark of quality across the business Ensure successful delivery by all project teams Oversee materials for BD and marketing Contribute to new business strategies Create growth and expand the studio into new sectors Hire, nurture and grow the design team Responsible for staying up to date with (i) industry developments and (ii) design tools and trends, and accountable for ensuring these are reflected globally in all design work tagged to their given vertical Line manages DDs/ADDs and guides them with course correction in design decisions from their respective engagements Actively engages in thought leadership activities specific to the industry, participating in external events to drive new leads Qualifications: 15+ Years’ experience within the design industry either within an agency of product design business Experience overseeing the running of a design agency/business as EDD A background to winning new business and have an extensive network within multiple sectors and industries Experience liaising with senior internal stakeholders About Us TCS Interactive is a leader in the digital customer experience space.
