Project Accountant

Job Title: Project AccountantRole OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support financial management across projects from initiation to closure. The role involves financial reporting, billing, forecasting, and partnering with project teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain projects in financial systems as per contracts and company policiesEnsure accurate revenue recognition, forecasting, and financial reportingMonitor project performance (margins, WIP, cash flow, and receivables)Support invoicing, billing accuracy, and cash collection (DSO management)Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure timely settlementsPartner with project managers on cost control, risk management, and financial insightsParticipate in audits and ensure compliance with financial processesSupport budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly reportingAssist with contract interpretation, commercial terms, and project close-outRequirementsGraduate/Postgraduate in Finance or AccountingCA Intermediate or equivalent preferred5–10 years of experience in project accounting or similar roleStrong Excel and financial analysis skillsGood stakeholder management and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving ability
