The Head Accountant will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Other responsibilities include supervising accounting staff, coordinating audits, analyzing financial data for decision-making, and implementing cost-effective financial practices within the organization.QualificationsProficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax complianceStrong analytical skills for budget management, financial forecasting, and internal auditsExperience with accounting software and tools for efficient financial operationsLeadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee a financial teamExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent is a plus)Ideally 5+ years of professional experience in accounting and financial management, within the pharmaceutical or related industries is a plus.Understanding of global financial regulations and reporting standards is an advantage
