Backed by Platinum Equity, we continue to innovate and grow with a strong R&D base in Thane and manufacturing in Ambernath.Role Summary:The Lead Manager – Finance & Accounts is responsible for leading the company’s financial planning, analysis, cash flow, and risk management initiatives. The role involves providing strategic financial insights, supporting investment decisions, managing regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You will also lead a team to ensure productivity and adherence to policies, enabling Inventia to meet its business and financial goals.Key Responsibilities:1. Cash & Liquidity ManagementManage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity.Forecast short- and long-term cash flows (Daily, Weekly, 13-Week Rolling).Optimize fund utilization and avoid excess liquidity or shortages.Provide actionable insights for investment of surplus cash.2. Budgeting & Fund Flow ManagementLead the annual budgeting process and ensure compliance with approved plans.Track and report Planned vs Actual fund flow.Enable project cost control by preparing timely feasibility reports.3. Risk ManagementIdentify and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, FX, and credit risk.Monitor market trends and revise financial strategies accordingly.Implement internal financial controls and compliance protocols.4. Funding & Capital StructureEvaluate and secure necessary funding for operations and capital projects.Maintain a balanced mix of debt and equity financing aligned with business goals.Build and manage relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.5. Investment ManagementStrategically invest surplus funds for optimal returns.Maintain an efficient investment portfolio supporting long-term objectives.Track performance of financial assets and report investment outcomes.6. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Develop forecasts, financial models, and variance analyses.Provide data-driven insights for strategic business decisions.Support AVP Finance in decision-making by preparing MISdashboards and reports.7. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, accounting standards, and tax regulations.Prepare for and support internal/external audits.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.8. Project Financials & FeasibilityConduct project/capex feasibility studies and track actual vs projected costs.Advise project teams to enable financial discipline and control.9. People & Performance ManagementSupervise and guide team members toward achieving performance goals.Identify training needs and enable capability development.Foster a culture of productivity, ownership, and compliance with compan values.10. Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementRepresent the finance function in discussions with external stakeholders.Maintain investor, auditor, and regulatory body relationships.Collaborate with internal teams for financial alignment.11. FEMA Compliance for BusinessesEnsure compliance with Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) regulations for all cross-border transactions.Obtain necessary approvals from regulatory authorities, especially the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as applicable.Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for all foreign exchange transactions.Monitor and report inbound and outbound investments as per prescribed RBI guidelines.Stay updated with evolving FEMA norms to mitigate regulatory risks and support compliant international operations.Qualifications & Skills:Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, treasury, and fund flow management.Strong grasp of financial modelling, risk management, and budgeting.Experience in pharma or manufacturing sectors preferred.Excellent communication and team leadership skills.Proficiency in ERP and financial tools like SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
