Job Title: ExecutiveDepartment: Risk Assurance and AdvisoryLocation: MumbaiReporting To: Manager / Senior Manager - Forensic InvestigationExperience Level: 2 - 3 Years Qualification - Qualified CA/ LLBRole OverviewThe Executive will support forensic audits, fraud investigations and fraud risk management assignments. This role involves assisting in evidence gathering, data analysis, internal control review, and preparation of investigation reports while ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards. Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigation & Forensic Audit SupportAssist in conducting forensic audits and fraud investigations across various industries.Support fact-finding exercises including review of financial records, transaction testing, and control assessments.Perform analysis of accounting records, bank statements, vendor payments, and procurement transactions.Identify red flags, suspicious transactions, and potential control gaps.Analysis of financial and transactional data.Data Analysis & DocumentationAssist in email/electronically stored records review, data analysis or other related efforts Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data using data analytics tools.Prepare working papers, investigation summaries, and evidence documentation.Maintain proper chain of custody and evidence handling protocols.Assist in drafting forensic investigation reports and presentations.Compliance & Risk AssessmentSupport internal control reviews and fraud risk assessments.Assist clients in evaluating compliance with regulatory and corporate governance frameworks.Identify weaknesses in internal control systems and recommend improvements.Client & Stakeholder InteractionCoordinate with client teams to obtain information and documentation.Participate in client interviews and discussions under supervision.Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct during assignments.
