Senior Accountant

We are expanding our Global Finance team and seeking a high-calibre Chartered Accountant to take on a critical role supporting our Life & Health business. This is not a back-office accounting job — you will be driving regulatory reporting, IFRS/Ind AS compliance, and cross-border finance initiatives with teams across Asia and Europe.If you want exposure to global standards, complex regulatory landscapes, and premium/claims accounting for a multinational business, this role will challenge you and accelerate your career.What You Will OwnLead preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IRDAI requirements.Ensure full compliance with IFRS / Ind AS and all statutory and industry-specific regulations.Prepare and submit regulatory reports to IRDAI and other authorities.Manage premium and claims accounting for Life & Health reinsurance clients.Drive accurate reconciliations, settlements, and timely month/quarter-end close.Manage internal and external audit cycles — liaising with auditors, resolving queries, and ensuring clean sign-offs.Collaborate closely with our Global Finance team to align on policies, standards, and reporting frameworks.Contribute to regional and international finance projects, including process enhancements and system improvements.What You BringChartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years post-qualification experience.Background in reinsurance, insurance, or financial services preferred.Strong command of IFRS / Ind AS and regulatory reporting frameworks.Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other global ERP systems.Working knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus (not mandatory).Proven experience managing audits and working within multinational finance environments.Exceptional analytical ability and confident stakeholder communication.Why This Role Is Worth Your TimeDirect exposure to global finance teams and international regulatory standards.Ownership of high-impact reporting for a regulated branch environment.Opportunity to build a deep specialty in Life & Health premium/claims accounting.A highly collaborative culture with cross-border career visibility.
