The group is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and global partnerships.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Head Accountant based in Mumbai. The Head Accountant will oversee financial operations, manage accounting processes, prepare financial reports, ensure statutory compliance, handle budgeting and forecasting, and monitor expenses and revenues. The role also involves working closely with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities• Oversee full accounting operations, costing, and inventory controls• Manage financial statements, audits, and statutory compliance• Handle GST, TDS, export documentation & banking for imports/exports• Ensure accuracy in stock reconciliation (gold, diamonds, loose stones)• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow & MIS reporting• Strengthen internal controls and guide the finance teamQualifications- Proficiency in general accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance - Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis - Experience with auditing, internal controls, and risk management - Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as SAP or Tally - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills - Proficient communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams - Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are a plus - Prior experience in managing teams and working in the luxury or retail industry.Salary package as per Experience and Qualification.
