Job Title - Senior Manager - Finance & AccountsAbout the RoleReporting to the Head – Accounts Payable Management and Controls, this role is responsible for leading the team managing P2P & R2R processes in the Finance function, and assisting with the following:ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Department Head in overall management of the function, including: Design, implementation and monitoring a strong control framework Assessing, monitoring and improving process efficiencies including through automation projects Adopting best practices Creating and maintaining SOP’s, accounting policies and checklists Develop and publish spend analysis Specific responsibilities include accounting, reporting and assistance in budgeting and forecasting of: Content costs by all channels of the network Marketing activities undertaken by all channels Capex, Technical cost for OTT platform GST reconciliations & other GST compliances Monitoring of accounting for Studio Next projects Build strong relationships with Business teams and other stakeholders to drive the Finance agenda while balancing and appreciating the business requirementsQualificationsEducation: Chartered AccountantExperience: 10-12 yearsLocation: MumbaiReporting Relationship: Head – Accounts Payable Management and ControlsBusiness/Channel/Function: Finance and AccountsRequired SkillsOrientation for detail Effective stakeholder management Process & control orientation Team player Excellent communication skills Willingness to learn Innovative & out of box thinking Multitasking, efficient planning and time management Ability to balance business requirements while retaining Finance controlsPreferred SkillsKnowledge of accounting standards Knowledge of relevant income tax and GST provisions Excellent knowledge of SAP system & Excel Knowledge about best practices around P2P process Ability to assess and improvise on the control environmentAbout the CompanyCulverMax Entertainment Pvt Ltd (Formerly known as Sony Pictures Networks India) is home to some of India’s leading entertainment channels such as SET, SAB, MAX, PAL, PIX, Sony BBC Earth, Yay!, Sony Marathi, Sony SIX, Sony TEN, SONY TEN1, SONY Ten2, SONY TEN3, SONY TEN4, to name a few!
