Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Manage end-to-end accounting operations: Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition. Oversee day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process. Prepare financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Policies, Processes & Controls Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity. Streamline and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and effectiveness. Research and apply technical accounting standards (IND AS, IFRS) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Financial Reporting & Analysis Deliver detailed financial reports and MIS dashboards for stakeholders and management. Analyse financial data to monitor expenditures, assess performance, and forecast revenues. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis aligned with strategic goals. Support data-driven decision-making through financial modelling and scenario planning. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with local, state, and central government regulations, including direct and indirect taxation. Manage statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions. Coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits; resolve audit findings promptly. Strategic Finance & Risk Management Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term company goals. Manage capital structure: private equity, ECB loans, NCDs, and international financing sources. Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions, cost optimization, and capital allocation. Leadership & Collaboration Lead functions: Finance, Accounts, MIS, and Taxation. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and business goals. Handle additional controllership responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Chartered Accountant Skills Required 12–15 years of post-qualification experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in teams Strong leadership qualities; effective team leader Excellent interpersonal skills Proficiency in accounting / ERP software Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
