Qualifications Chartered Accountant with any other added qualification Experience 15-18 Years Functional Competencies Knowledge and good experience of Insurance Sector, IRDA rules and regulations Strong understanding of Accounting Standard (IGAAP) and IndAS Strong Technical knowledge of accounting and reviewing Expert in Finance domain operational processes including reconciliation controls Banking Relationship Management Behavioral Competencies Business Acumen Growth through Differentiation Collaboration Building Talent and Teams Customer Centricity Execution Excellence Key Interactions Internal Nature or purpose of interaction Reporting Manager and Senior Management For financial statement reporting and expense management reporting Taking directions proactively and periodically for various changes in business dynamics so as to align functional objectives BSG, IT, Investment, Risk, Operation , Sales , HR & Admin Partnering for timely resolutions on various operational aspects / Reporting Vendor and partner related issue discussion and management Investment related transaction and compliance matters Risk team observation’s mitigation response and action plan status. Supporting Sales in various tenders and sales closing process by providing required financial numbers User requirement and BRDs to BSG team for new products and functionalities External Nature or purpose of interaction Auditors and Regulators Managing Audit, various report / details submission to the IRDAI Liasioning, coordinating, maintaining and managing relations with various leaders in regulatory bodies and also with various external consultants Vendor For procurement of goods and services. Shareholder group entities For reporting requirement and other adhoc matters Industry Peer Companies Be in constant communication with most of the peer companies for being ahead of any new dynamics or changes
