Animation Instructor

Role DescriptionAlphagen Learning is looking for a passionate Freelance Animation Tutor to conduct fun sessions for students aged 15+. This is a part-time, remote role.The Animation Instructor will be responsible for teaching animation concepts and techniques to students, creating educational materials, guiding students through the animation process, and providing constructive feedback on their work. This role also involves mentoring students in storyboarding, graphics, and computer animation to help them explore their creativity and develop technical skills.If you love animation, enjoy teaching, and believe learning should be creative, this is a wonderful opportunity to work with curious young creators in a hands-on environment. DetailsConduct 12 sessions in totalSchedule: April till JuneDays: Tuesday and/or SaturdayEach session: 60-90 minutesTeach animation concepts using industry toolsWork closely with learners aged 15+ in an interactive, project-based setup Required Skills & ToolsHighly proficient in BlenderProficiency in Adobe After EffectsFamiliarity with multiple animation toolsPrior teaching experience with kids and teenagers in an online environmentQualificationsExcellent spoken EnglishExperience in Animation, Computer Animation, and Graphic DesignKnowledge and experience in Storyboarding and visual storytelling techniquesTeaching skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to students' learning stylesStrong communication, organizational, and mentorship abilitiesProficiency in animation software and toolsA passion for education and nurturing creativity in studentsFormal training or a degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or related fields is preferred
