ARIA Billing Architecture

Key Responsibilities: Design end-to-end billing architecture using Aria Billing for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid pricing models Lead Aria Billing implementation, configuration, and customization across products and services Define product catalogs, plans, pricing rules, invoices, taxes, discounts, and proration logic Architect and manage integrations between Aria Billing and upstream/downstream systems (CRM, ERP, Payment Gateways, Order Management, Data Warehouse) Work closely with business stakeholders to translate billing requirements into technical solutions Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of billing systems Define billing workflows for order-to-cash, revenue recognition, and collections Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices guidance to development teams Support data migration, billing reconciliation, and production issue resolution Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and architecture diagrams Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with Aria Billing Cloud (configuration & APIs) Expertise in subscription management, recurring billing, usage rating, invoicing Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations Knowledge of payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, CyberSource, etc.) Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes Experience with tax engines (Avalara, Vertex) is a plus Strong SQL knowledge and experience with billing data analysis Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
