JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT MANAGER – HR LOCATION: MORBI, GUJARAT JOB ROLE: To develop a coherent and strategic approach in tandem with the other departments of the organization, in order to understand the needs of the people working in the organization. The HR has to act as a bridge between top management and the other departments, to facilitate effective communication. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Resource hunting and recruitment Employee Job Profiling Coaching the employees Training and development Employee satisfaction and retention Team handling and leadership Confidentiality and discretion REPORTING TO: Chief Manager - HR RESPONSIBLITIES: Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications. Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and source profiles through linked in, employee references, networking, etc. Maintaining organization chart and carrying out manpower planning exercises on a periodic basis. Monitoring leave and attendance of all employees on a regular basis. Assist in preparation of Salary for payroll staff and Contract staff. Conduct new employee orientations. Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers. Identification of training needs Recommend, develop and schedule training and development courses. Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Play a significant role in maintaining employee relations and grievance handling Develop surveys, questionnaires, and other feedback tools to gather insights from employees and customers. Prepare Job profile documentation for each department and updating it periodically. Coordinating and helping HoDs to develop / finalise Individual KRAs / Goals and ensuring that it is in line with the Organizational and Departmental Goals Conduct employee exit formalities Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems. Organizing recreational activities like birthdays, festivals, events, etc. Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements. Preparation of all periodic & need based HRMIS Other duties as assigned. AGE: 30 and above EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: Graduate in any discipline. DESIRABLE: MBA/ PGDM with human resources as major specialization. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ESSENTIAL: 7-9 years of generalist HR experience with exposure to multiple human resource disciplines. DESIRABLE: Having worked independently in the capacity of a team leader and having good experience in recruitments, well versed with current labour laws and statutory compliances would be desirable.
