Data & Analytics Engineer (Remote)

SapienPlus AI is building a quantitative research and synthetic intelligence platform combining market data, behavioral modeling, and AI-driven analytics. We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to maintain data pipelines and prepare analysis-ready datasets for statisticians and researchers. This role involves working with broker APIs, subscribed data sources, and public datasets, and creating variables for downstream modeling. Location: Remote (Work from Home) Compensation: ₹50,000 per month (in-hand) CTC: Up to ₹9 LPA (based on experience & structure) Type: Full-time / Flexible hours Professionals returning to work after a career break are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Ingest data from sources like IBKR, APIs, and public datasets • Maintain structured historical datasets • Clean and normalize incoming data • Create derived variables and indicators • Perform basic exploratory data analysis • Generate summary statistics • Automate periodic data refresh pipelines • Prepare datasets for statisticians Required Skills • Python (Pandas, NumPy) • API data ingestion • Data cleaning & preprocessing • SQL / structured data handling • Time-series data understanding • Basic exploratory analysis Required Qualifications • Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Experience level: 1–5 years (flexible for strong candidates, including return-to-work professionals) Good to Have • IBKR / financial market data experience • Scheduling pipelines (cron / Airflow) • Basic statistics knowledge • Data visualization About SapienPlus AI SapienPlus builds AI-driven analytics, synthetic populations, and quantitative research platforms combining data engineering, statistics, and behavioral modeling.
