The ideal candidate is expected to assist in creating and managing video content for developing engaging teaching materials and will bring expertise in video recording and editing, graphics, and technical know-how to enhance the quality of educational videos. The candidate will oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and maintaining high standards of creativity and professionalism and will shape the future of video-based learning at CDOE. This role also includes training faculty on best practices for video production.Key Responsibilities Video Production: Lead the production of high-quality academic videos, including tutorials, lectures, and instructional content Review and refine scripts and storyboards to ensure alignment with learning objectives Supervise video editing, motion graphics, and post-production processes like transitions, audio elements and animations to deliver polished outputsMaintain consistency in branding and instructional tone across all video materials Equipment Handling:Operate cameras, recording equipment and other studio gadgets Set up and manage green screen studios for recordings Software Expertise and Content Management:Use advanced editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia or similar toolsWork with graphic design software like Adobe After Effects or Photoshop to add visual elementsEnsure the safety and organization of video content through proper backup and archivingMaintain a streamlined workflow for video production and content updates Team Collaboration and Faculty Training:Work closely with subject matter experts, academic teams, and designers to ensure video accuracy and relevanceProvide training to faculty members on shooting videos, using recording equipment, and maintaining content quality Quality AssuranceConduct thorough reviews of video content to ensure clarity, engagement, and production excellenceImplement feedback loops to continuously improve the video development processQualifications & SkillsGraduate or postgraduate degree preferably in media, communications, film production, or a related fieldCertifications or formal training in video production or editing will be an advantage2-5 years of professional experience in video production and creating educational or e-Learning contentExpertise in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia or equivalent software.
