ORACLE EBS R12 P2P CONSULTANT - CONTRACT - OFFSHORENext Ventures is seeking a specialist Oracle EBS R12 P2P Consultant for a contract role with our client in India.Start Date: ImmediateLocation: IndiaTravel: Fully RemoteHours: Full TimeTimezone: CETDuration: 12 months + extensionsKey ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end solution design for complex Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformations within Oracle EBS R12 Procurement.Architect and configure advanced functionality across:PurchasingiProcurementSourcingSupplier Lifecycle Management (SLM)iSupplier PortalOwn Fit-Gap workshops with senior business stakeholders and drive solution blueprinting aligned to enterprise architecture standards.Design and optimize:AME-based approval hierarchiesComplex document types and controlsEncumbrance accounting (where applicable)Multi-org, multi-ledger, and multi-currency procurement structuresLead RICEFW strategy including functional design authority for:Complex inbound/outbound interfacesSupplier integrations (banks, tax engines, 3rd party systems)High-volume conversions and data migration strategyEnsure seamless integration with:Accounts PayableGeneral LedgerCash ManagementInventory & BOM (where procurement-driven)Provide governance over customizations ensuring alignment with Oracle best practices and upgrade readiness.Drive performance optimization, troubleshooting high-impact production issues, and root cause analysis.Mentor junior consultants and act as Procurement Functional SME across programs.Support upgrade, patching, and regulatory compliance initiatives.Contribute to solution estimation, proposal support, and pre-sales activities (if required).Required Skills & Expertise8+ years deep functional experience in Oracle EBS R12 Procurement with multiple full lifecycle implementations in complex enterprise environments.Proven expertise in advanced configuration of:Purchasing & iProcurementAME & Workflow customizationSupplier lifecycle and sourcing modulesDocument security and approval frameworksStrong understanding of end-to-end P2P accounting flows including accruals, encumbrance, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).Experience designing global procurement solutions (multi-org, shared services, centralized procurement models).Strong command over integration patterns (API, open interface tables, custom integrations).Experience defining and reviewing MD50/MD70 functional design documents at enterprise level.Solid working knowledge of:Oracle Workflow BuilderSQL (for troubleshooting and validation)Data migration strategy & reconciliation controlsExperience handling high transaction volumes and performance tuning considerations.Strong stakeholder engagement capability at Director / CXO level.Ability to challenge business requirements and recommend industry best practices rather than system replication.Experience in 11i to R12 upgrades and post-implementation optimization projects is highly desirable.Exposure to Oracle Cloud Procurement is advantageous.If you are interested please submit your cv or send it to
