Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Conduct nutritional assessments of employees and patients visiting the OHC. Design personalized diet charts for employees with lifestyle disorders (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cardiovascular conditions). Provide dietary guidance for individuals exposed to occupational risks, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks. Plan balanced, nutritious menus for the Shramik Vihar canteen (contract workforce) and plant canteens (employees), ensuring alignment with occupational health and energy needs. Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and portioning in canteens to ensure compliance with nutrition and safety norms. Counsel employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses. Develop nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels. Conduct awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists in the OHC to ensure holistic patient care. Maintain records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes. Stay updated on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management.Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent. Registered Dietician certification preferred. Minimum5 years of experienceas a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup. Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare. Experience inlarge-scale menu planning and industrial canteen managementwill be an added advantage. Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
