This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless monitoring, management, and optimization of IT events across our infrastructure. The Event Management Engineer will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency by leveraging advanced event management tools and technologies. This position significantly impacts the organization's ability to proactively address issues, streamline workflows, and support business continuity. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Event Management tools to monitor and manage IT infrastructure events effectively. Utilize Ignio and Keep platforms to automate event correlation, root cause analysis, and incident resolution processes. Lead and execute migration projects related to event management systems, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event management strategies and improve system alerts and notifications. Analyze event data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including event management workflows, procedures, and reports. Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on event management tools and best practices. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in event monitoring and management activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in event management within IT operations or service management environments. Proven experience with event management tools and platforms, particularly Ignio and Keep. Strong background in managing migration projects involving event management systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) or event management platforms are a plus.
