Recent 2+ years in Android is a must3+ years of experience as a Lead / Architect on production Android apps.Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and Modern Android Development.Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose, Hilt, Room, Coroutines, and Navigation Components.Strong understanding of Gradle build systems, dependency management, and modularization.Experience writing robust instrumentation tests (Espresso, Compose testing, or Robolectric). System Design & Architecture Proven ability to design scalable, modular Android architectures.Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Understanding of Android app startup performance, memory management, and architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).Code Review & Benchmarking Experienced in assessing code quality, performance, and testability. Comfortable designing and maintaining reproducible build environments.Exposure to open-source contribution workflows (Git, PRs, issues, commits).Other Strong attention to detail, with an obsession for quality and correctness.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.Excellent written communication for documenting tasks, issues, and validation processes.Preferred Experience Contributions to open-source Android projects or frameworks.Prior experience in AI / ML model evaluation, benchmarking, or dataset creation.Familiarity with SWE-Bench or similar task evaluation frameworks. Knowledge of LLMs and code generation models (e.g., Code Llama, GPT, Gemini). Experience automating code validation and test execution pipelines.
