Electrical Designer- Oil and Gas

Job Requirements Job ResponsibilitiesActing as a Lead Designer (Electrical) for the project. Prepare and develop arrangement and detail conceptual drawings for Electrical disciplineKey Indicators FEED, studies, and detail design drawings of high technical quality and professional consistent presentation ensuring clarity and ease of construction. Develop 3D models maintaining inter-disciplinary checks with all other disciplines. Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued as per project specificationsStudy and understand the E&I design scope of work. Need to be conversant with Company and Client procedures, standards and applicable international codes and standardsInterface with other disciplines to obtain input for discipline designs and drawingsShould be capable of independently review 3D models, extracting cable. cable tray MTO, earthing MTO from respective layout drawings.Assist Discipline Lead in preparing estimates for proposals and job scope changes, including execution statements, work schedules, and man-hour requirementsPrepare and review Discipline deliverables such as:3D modelDetailed design drawingsAs-built drawingsMTO extraction and PreparationTo support the import and export of reference model to PDMS / E3D from vendor inputs. Review of vendor drawings deliverables which are to be made in line with project requirements.Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline in accordance to applicable codes and standards.Knowledge on AVEVA Electrical , AVEVA Instrumentation will be an added advantage.Knowledge on AutoCAD.Work Experience Skills Required: 3D model E&I scopesOne-line diagrams SchematicsInterconnection and wiring diagramsBlock diagrams Area classification drawingsConduit and cable schedules PowerLayout drawingsCable Tray layoutsEarthing and Lightning Protection layout drawingsLighting layout drawingsElectrical cable tray drawingsElectrical Equipment layouts.E&I support drawingsCable blocks diagram, cable & Junction Box scheduleInstrument Hook up (Pneumatic and Process) DiagramInstallation standards, Loop diagramFire & Gas Equipment Layout, PA system, MCT arrangements, etc.,Thorough understanding of Interdisciplinary interfacesShould be proficient in developing electrical models in E3D and review in Navisworks. Qualifications:Proficient in English (speaking and writing)Degree: Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical Minimum 8 years of experienceExperience in oil and gas industryPrior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies
