Please visit Job Title:Payroll Specialist Employment Type:Full-TimeJob Summary Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately and timely processing payroll for employees while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role works closely with HR, Finance, and management to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and support audits and reporting.Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Review and validate timekeeping records, PTO, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and payments Reconcile payroll reports and general ledger entries Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly Support internal and external payroll audits Coordinate onboarding and offboarding payroll activities (new hires, terminations, final pay) Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution Wage Garnishment entriesRequired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) 2–5 years of payroll processing experience Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skillsPreferred Qualifications Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Experience processing multi-state payroll Knowledge of benefits administration and timekeeping systemsKey Competencies Accuracy and accountability Confidentiality and integrity Problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service orientation Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesOur Culture Innovation-driven environment Collaborative team culture Strong work-life balance Regular team-building activities
