Position : Senior Financial Analyst Department : Finance & Accounts Location : Mangalore (Onsite)Summary: We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–5 years of experience to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance, and supporting business decisions through financial analysis and process improvements.I. Role Objective To support the organization’s financial planning, reporting, compliance, and decision-making processes by delivering accurate financial information, driving analytical insights, ensuring statutory compliance, and leveraging modern tools (including AI-enabled solutions) to enhance finance operations.II. Key Responsibilities A. Financial Accounting & Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS. Ensure accurate general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and timely month-end/quarter-end closures. Support consolidation and group reporting, including intercompany reconciliations. Assist in preparation of management reports, dashboards, and variance analysis.B. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning exercises. Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget/Forecast) and provide actionable insights. Develop financial models for business scenarios, pricing, and investment decisions. Partner and collaborate with other business functions to improve cost controls and profitability.C. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance (India) Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements including: GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable laws Companies Act, ROC filings, and related compliances Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.D. Process Improvement & Controls Strengthen internal controls and documentation of SOPs. Identify automation and optimization opportunities in finance processes. Support implementation and enhancement of ERP / accounting systems.E. Technology & AI Enablement Use AI-enabled tools and advanced Excel/BI tools to improve data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Explore automation opportunities using RPA/AI for routine finance activities.III. Qualifications & Experience Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounting, FP&A, or Financial Reporting roles. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS. Hands-on experience in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting. Good understanding of Indian statutory compliances and taxation. Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel; familiarity with BI/AI tools preferred.IV. Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under tight deadlines Good communication and stakeholder management Proactive, process-oriented mindset Tech-savvy with interest in automation and AIV. Preferred Attributes Experience in IT/Software or service industry environment Exposure to multinational reporting structures Prior experience in audit firms or Big 4 is an advantage
