Location: India Department: Power Systems - Aftermarket Reports To: Segment Head - Power System After Market Role Overview : Camfil India is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead plant optimisation initiatives for power systems aftermarket solutions. The role is central to ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and energy efficiency in gas turbine filtration systems, housings, and related applications. The candidate will act as the technical and operational lead for aftermarket optimisation projects, supporting customers in extending equipment life, reducing downtime, improving output, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities : • Responsible for Plant Optimization lead generation and related activities Lead performance optimisation of for gas turbine/large air compressors filtration systems across multiple customer sites (Indian subcontinent). • Conduct filter performance analysis (pressure drop, lifecycle cost analysis, efficiency, FPD/IPD evaluation). • Conducts detailed site survey and identify opportunities for revamp of existing filter house • Discuss and identify customer pain points, Rrecommend retrofit and upgrade solutions for filter housings and applications to maximise efficiency. • Implement condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and cost optimisation strategies. • Act as the primary technical interface for aftermarket customers in power systems. • Provide technical guidance on Camfil Gas Turbine Filter (GT) solutions including EPA/HEPA, static filters, and high-efficiency pre-filters. • Collaborate with sales and service teams to deliver tailor-made optimisation packages. • Conduct site audits and performance validation reports for customers. • Advise on upgrades from legacy filter solutions to advanced Camfil technology. • Drive aftermarket revenue growth through optimisation, upgrades, and service contracts. • Provide feedback to factory and R&D for design improvements based on field data. • Develop training modules for customers and internal teams on GT filtration optimisation. Qualifications & Experience • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, Power Engineering, or related fields. • 7–12 years in gas turbine filtration systems. 5 years minimum experience in Plant Optimization and Retrofit & Revamp solutions to the customers mainly Fertilizer, Refineries, Steel and Power Plants preferably on gas turbine filtration systems / power plant optimisation / aftermarket solutions. • Proven track record in filter applications, filter modules, filter housings for Compressor, GT and Generator intake system. • Experience in handling OEMs, EPCs, and end-users in the power sector preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Life Cycle Cost, FPD/IPD, pressure drop calculations). • Excellent knowledge of gas turbine filter housings, static and pulse filter systems. • Customer-facing experience with ability to conduct audits and technical presentations. • Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
